Light rain will continue across northern Wisconsin into the evening hours. Otherwise expect low clouds and fog across the region today as a brief lull in the rain will prevail in most areas. Low pressure will bring another round of showers and even a few rumbles of thunder across parts northeast Iowa and far southern Wisconsin on Thursday. Expect area rivers to continue to rise due to melting snow and more rain in the forecast. The unsettled weather pattern will persist into Saturday before conditions begin to dry out for the latter part of the weekend.
