A large storm system and associated cold front will move east across the region today, exiting off to the east overnight tonight. Expect showers and embedded thunderstorms to occur through the day, bringing a general half to three-quarters of an inch of rainfall to most areas. High pressure will build in behind the system, bringing mostly sunny conditions back to the area for Wednesday.
