A narrow band of heavy snow is likely to develop over western Iowa and spread northeast into southeast Minnesota into west central Wisconsin today. Strong winds are expected with gusts 35 to 55 mph likely. Drifting snow and white-out conditions will be possible west of the Mississippi River, for parts of southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa. Adjust travel plans if at all possible.
